International Lecturers

Dr. Özlem Kunday

Özlem Kunday is a Professor at  Istanbul Topkapi University, Department of Business Administration as well as the Director of the Institute of Graduate Studies.  She received her B.S.  in Applied Economics from Gazi University, her MBA from Southern Illinois University and her PhD in Management from Yeditepe University. Her research interests include strategic human resource management, entrepreneurship and small business management. She is teaching Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship both at undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Kunday enjoys being active in the entrepreneurial ecosytem by serving as a mentor to start-ups.

Dr. Harry Costin

Harry Costin holds a doctorate degree in Business Strategy from Boston University and a master’s degree in Education from Harvard University. He has over twenty five years of academic experience and has worked as an academic and a consultant in North, Central, and South America, in Europe, North Africa and Central Asia.
He likes to teach at DHBW Karlsruhe as he is strongly committed to the cooperative education system which which combines on-the-job training and academic studies.
 

David Moulton

David Moulton has worked in higher education for the last 35 years as a member of staff in university business schools. He currently holds a position of lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University. His subject areas cover quality management, which includes lean management and six sigma, project management and operations management, looking at not just the theoretical aspects of the subject but also the importance they have in the workplace and their practical application. David is currently the level 5 year tutor (2nd year undergraduate) managing the day to day student issues. He is also the faculty international mobility co-ordinator for staff mobility.

Dr. Agnes Neher

Agnes Neher is in the final stage of her Ph.D. at the German University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart. Currently, she is working as a consultant at Detecon (Switzerland) AG in the Sustainability Management Team. Her research focuses lie on the social reporting activities of institutional Investors, on the relationship between national ESG culture and sovereign bond yields, and on regulation regarding Responsible Investment in the EU.
She is motivated to teach at the DHBW as it gives her the chance lecturing in an international setting with students from all over the world. Especially discussing moral and cultural financial issues is enriched by the different cultural backgrounds.
 

Mariusz Soltanifar

Mariusz Soltanifar currently works as a Marketing Lecturer at the International Business School at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen in The Netherlands. He has been working as a lecturer of entrepreneurship, business and marketing in several countries. He did his PhD in Poland at the University of Lodz and research in Australia and the United States. During his Master’s degree in International Marketing awarded by the University of Lodz in Poland he also studied at the DHBW Karlsruhe as an exchange student. Coming back to Karlsruhe as an international lecturer is a great pleasure for him

Dr. Mehmet Yusuf Yahyagil

Mehmet Yusuf Yahyagil was a professor at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Yeditepe University, Istanbul, Turkey and works now as a freelance academic. He has been lecturing primarily on the subject of organizational behavior and research methodology both at undergraduate and graduate level. His main research areas are: Organizational culture & climate, cross-cultural management, universal cultural values, subjective well-being, and relevant subjects.
He is very proud of lecturing students with many different cultural backgrounds and hopes that all of them can benefit of him as a lecturer as well.

Thomas Wittig

Thomas Wittig is the CEO of WITTIGONIA. Thomas held senior executive positions at Microsoft Corporation, SAP SE, and high growth companies. He is an active innovation partner for Enterprise, Public Sector, National Innovation Agencies and High-growth.As the founder and CEO of WITTIGONIA®, Thomas is working as an independent advisor, business developer and active innovation partner with Enterprise, Government, NGO, Startups and their investors and boards.He is an expert advisor to the European Commission and Horizon 2020 instrument with a focus on improving sustainable innovation and growth. As an active advisor to Swiss start-ups and accelerators he provides business, board and leadership support.Thomas is a system and data expert and advised many companies on systemic challenges. In 2014 he founded WITTIGONIA® as an independent company, and WITTIGONIA® Online Academy which provides engaging learning experiences for individuals and team, with a focus on system leadership skill development.
Thomas held previous executive positions at Microsoft Corporation (1990 – 2005) as Global Director of the Enterprise Platform, Partner Services and Global Service Operations. He is an alumni of the Microsoft global leadership development program, at Microsoft and Wharton Executive School.During his time with SAP SE, 2005 - 2009, Thomas held the position as Senior Vice President, Member of the Senior Global Executive Team, and led the development of the Small and MediumEnterprise business and Partner Ecosystem. He is an alumni of the SAP global leadership program for senior executives, at INSEAD and SAP SE.Since 2009 Thomas worked with several high growth companies in CEO, COO and board positions. He is also a supporter of the innovation ecosystem and entrepreneurship and advises national innovation agencies.
Thomas holds a Dipl. Ing. degree from Technical University of Munich, a Master degree of WPI in System Dynamics, and a Diplome from UEJM. As a system and data science expert with industry and executive leadership experience he is often engaged in large scale, strategic transformation projects.
